Antique Cork Floats - $3.00 ea.

These were found recently. along with the cedar needles below, when cleaning out an old net factory that was established in the year 1900. The building had long ago been converted into another business, but the original equipment and tools were still stored there. Each piece measures approximately 3-1/2" in diameter and are about 1" thick. Because of the characteristics of the cork from which they were made and due to their age, variations in texture and color intensity can be expected. These are genuine antiques. They are NOT plastic, foam, or PVC.
Antique Cedar Netting Needles - $25 per Set of Six

SIX total antique cedar needles for mending fishing nets or trawls. These are all hand carved and are very old. 1/2" x 8" (approx). Since they are hand carved, there may be some slight variation in sizes. The wood from which these are carved appears to be cedar. Because of the characteristics of the wood from which they were carved and due to their age, variations in color intensity can be expected.
